The Voice of Vietnam today reports a further tightening of controls over the activities of Internet users: "According to a Ministry [of Culture and Information] document released on Thursday, all [Internet access] agents are required to keep personal information on their customers as well as Internet services and websites which their customers have accessed within [the past] 30 days, and provide information as required by relevant State agencies... The document also stipulates that Internet access agent owners must be legally responsible for their customers' illegal acts, including accessing indecent websites and disseminating illicit documents."
